Title I SES – Supplemental Educational Services | Tutoring and School Choice
FREE Tutoring Opportunities
During the 2011-12 school year, Centennial Elementary School, Jackson Elementary School, Madison Elementary School, and Romero Elementary School will participate in the Supplemental Educational Services Program (SES). These services add to what students learn while in class. They are available to students who are English Language Learners, at risk, low income or have learning disabilities, and require extra time and attention to gain the skills to perform at grade level.
Tutoring opportunities are provided free of charge to Centennial, Jackson, Madison, and Romero students who also qualify free and/or reduced lunch. Funding is provided through Title I.
If your student currently attends Centennial, Jackson, Madison, or Romero, please check with the office to see if your student is eligible to receive these services.

Only a limited number of students can be accommodated in the accepting schools, so we may not be able to transfer every student whose parent applies. Families are expected to respond before the deadline date of September 15, 2009, before the district designates which students will be able to transfer to choice schools.
